For all the clothes she stripped off onstage

Its true: a quick, unscientific survey revealed that a solid majority of the people Rosetta Stone Outlet in line outside (mostly women) were primarily there for "New Moon," and crossing their fingers that theyd get into the hall, or at least a glimpse of its stars. A lot of them were wearing "Twilight" T-shirts, official or homemade; more than a few were wearing "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob" Burger King crowns. Why no Team Bella? "Bellas not really that important," said Hana Takio, a Team Jacob enthusiast whod taken her place in the line around 9:30 AM for the New Moon panel five hours later. "Its all about the eyes."As it turned out, the panel didnt screen all that much of the movie, although Taylor Lautners fans were treated to footage of him shirtless, so they werent complaining. Desiree Cooper, another Jacob buff whod gotten in line with her friend a little before 10 a.m., had hoped to see all of the days Rosetta Stone V3 previews, especially Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. But she summed up what shed really wanted to see in the New Moon preview in two words: "A fursplosion!" Nearly half the numbers featured the star being dragged around the stage on some wheeled prop, and a variety of poles made their way into the set, aptly illustrating the split demographic Spears has long struggled to reconcile: were they meant to be interpreted as stripper poles or kitschy Big Top tent poles? Was Britney more comfortable wiggling under a male dancer during "Touch of My Hand" or curled in the nook of a giant fantastical umbrella for emotional ballad "Everytime"?Some of the shows most bizarre moments seemed to have little connection to the sets flow. Spears lip synched to Marilyn Mansons ghoulish cover of "Sweet Dreams Rosetta Stone Spanish (Are Made of This)" in a video recalling Eyes Wide Shut; a lone guitarist mounted the stage and wailed for several minutes before kicking into a rocked-out version of "Do Something"; backup dancers grooved to current hits like T.I. and Jay-Zs "Swagga Like Us," Rihannas "Dont Stop the Music" and Ne-Yos "Closer" just before the anxiously awaited "Toxic." Some scenes seemed stacked with meaning, like when Spears was caught in a frame a giant picture frame, rather than a photographers lens for "Breathe on Me", while others seemed whimsical, like at the end of "Boys," when Spears playfully bopped her male dancers on the head with a giant pink mallet. The room turned truly electric just twice after the opening number for a relatively chaste version of "Slave 4 U" that featured some of the nights best Cheap Rosetta Stone V3 choreography, and the penultimate song, a spare remix of "... Baby One More Time" that yanked almost everything but Spears vocal and a booming beat.
